It is of these places out of the commun run which do not belong to any known kind and which escape any classification. Riad Douzi, a place which has a heart well with him, from where emanates a timeless atmosphere, that one undoubtedly owes with Corinthian architecture this old man riad.

RIAD DOUZI / A MOROCCAN TRADITIONAL RIAD

Near of the famous Place Jemaa El Fna and Place of Spices, Riad Douzi is a true traditional house as there are somes behind the high walls of the médina of Marrakech. Riad Douzi niche at the bottom of a derb (small lane of the médina) in a calm district and yet we are all beside the souk and the great place of Marrakech, registered to the world heritage of humanity.

Riad Douzi includes 4 rooms distributed out of two stages and a suite with a living room and a room. Each one of these rooms has its own bathroom in tedlakt. To the ground floor, two rooms and give on the patio, while with the first stages the three others rooms open on a gallery.

In the patio decorated with a mural fountain, you will be able to have your breakfasts. Finally on the roof-terrace, you will see the roofs of Marrakech as well as the minaret of the mosque of Koutoubia. The evening you will be able to dine there and the day to benefit from the sun lengthened on a deckchair and to even take a shower when the sun is done too extremely.

Room Patio

A small room giving on the patio and its fountain. Walls white and on the ground of the old Moroccan typical tiling. A double bed and wall cupboards of arrangement. A bathroom in tadelakt with wash-hand basin and shower. Corner WC contiguous to the water room.

Room with the Arcades

A room giving under the arcades of the patio. Walls ochre and white, ground with Moroccan typical tiling. A double bed and wall cupboards of arrangements. A bathroom, with wash-hand basin, shower and WC, entirely in tadelakt color sands.

The Douzi suite

On the gallery, the Douzi suite, typical of the Marrakchi style. A room with its bed with baldachin, wool carpet and roundtable in mosaic. With the four corners of the part of the carved brackets diffuses a soft light.

A living room with the carved and coloured ceiling. A settee, two broad armchairs, carpet and roundtable await you for one moment of relaxation.

Beside the living room, a large dressingroom, then the bathroom with shower, wash-hand basin and WC.

Blue room

On the first floor, giving on the gallery, the blue room, like its walls. A relief, carved and coloured, gives on a white ceiling and visible beams. A double bed, a roundtable in mosaic and wall cupboards of arrangements. Bathroom with wash-hand basin, shower and WC.

Zelig room

On the first floor, the Zelig room gives on the gallery which overhangs the patio. Walls in earthenware tilings until middle height. A double bed and a roundtable in mosaic. A bathroom, with wash-hand basin, shower and WC, entirely in tadelakt color sands. Contiguous to the bathroom, a dressingroom room.

Meals

If you wish to take your meals, in the patio or on the terrace, Riad Douzi proposes best Moroccan kitchen to you : Moroccan salads, tajines or couscous, Moroccan pastry makings or fruits of the market, accompanied by mint tea.

Possibility of meal vegetarian, tea offered and fresh drink chart.
