The story of the convent begins in the 15th century when a huge storm forced an Italian boat onto the shores of Sa Riera. Sailors who survived the incident celebrated their good fortune by founding a chapel near a medicinal spring in the nearby forest. It is a location rich in history? with tales of a mysterious hermit, pirates and religious orders. Today, the natural terraces around the convent are the perfect place to enjoy its tranquility: somewhere to read a good book in the shade of a cypress or take a refreshing swim in the pool. Footpaths entice visitors to explore. The original structure of the building has been maintained, together with the special ambience that evolved there.
