Built in Art Nouveau style the house dates back to 1914 and is located in the Old-Berlin city district called Tiergarten. Now, after two renovations, it is a modern hostel with a 24h reception. It hosts groups, backpackers, families and single travellers. The hostel is located in a district filled with tradition. With its quiet streets, green parks, various restaurants, and local pubs you'll find a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel welcome like nowhere else in the city. The closest subway station, U-Tumstr., is just a short walk away from Amstel House and is a perfect start to discover Berlin. All of Berlin's famous sights are easily reachable: only 7 minutes to the central station; 15 minutes to Tegel airport, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and Hackescher Markt; 2 stops with the subway from the Zoo station and the Kurfürstendamm.
