Our hostel is in a secure and pretty private village which attracts backpackers from all over the world. We are only two blocks from the beach ipanema and in easy reach of a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The atmosphere in New Ipanema Hostel is friendly and informal and our helpful staff are dedicated to making your stay in Rio an enjoyable and memorable experience. ========================================== Advise about arrival time. Pay cash on arrival. Check in time flexible. Check out time at 12pm. This hostel requires a minimum stay of 3 nights. ========================================== Specials Event Booking - NYE & Carnival 2011 Conditions NEW YEAR: we only accept 5 days package, prior confirmed reservation, and a full prepayment is needed in order to warranty the booking, after booking the Hostel will contact you for the prepayment details CARNIVAL:we only accept 7 days package, prior confirmed reservation, and a full prepayment is needed in order to warranty the booking, after booking the Hostel will contact you for the prepayment details Important information: Even if the booking engine allows you to book less nights for the Carnival and New Year's Packages, your booking will not be valid if you do not book the whole package. (which means you will lose the deposit paid). New Years Package 2010 (5 nights - 27/12/2010 -01/01/2011) Carnaval Package 2011 (7 nights - 03/03/2011 -10/03/2011) Bookings for New Year or Carnival must be for the whole period of the package, any booking that breaks into the New Year's or Carnival dates will be automatically cancelled and the deposit amount not refunded and we are going to contact you about the payment from the whole package. Please not that once you have paid the 10% deposit through hostelsclub for our carnival or new years packages the reservation will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment for another 40% of the total within 01 November. (NYE) Carnival - 15 January The remaining 50% needs to be paid at the latest until 05 December (NYE) and Carnival - 05 February. We will contact you with our payment options.
