Description: Meander Hostel is centrally located in the downtown area of Budapest, the staff is an international mix of well-traveled backpackers who take the time to meet every guest with a map of the city, with suggestions of sites to see and the best places to eat and drink. We are all quick to offer tips to ensure you fall in love with Budapest as much as we have and can arrange activities during the day.

Meander Hostel offers 13 dorm rooms (ranging in size from 4 beds to 12 beds and one 2 bed private room, all with shared bathrooms and bunk beds). At Meander the beds are comfy and so clean.

The Meander offers guests: sociable indoor and courtyard common areas. Huge, well-equipped kitchen, free tea and coffee, and the option to share an at cost communal meal every night. Free Wi-Fi in every room, communal computers and free printing. Free linen and towel hire. Free city maps, lockers, luggage room. Padlock hire. Onsite bar with a weekly quiz, karaoke and other events.

Meander Hostel is centrally located in the downtown area of Budapest, within sight of St. Stephens Basilica, and a block from Budapest's theatre district, with its cafes, bars, restaurants and street food. Our location makes it possible to walk to all the major sites in Budapest (and the best bars!). The local area is the heart of the city's tea house and coffee shop culture and after dark, the center of Budapest's nightlife districts.
