Joey's Hostel - New Delhi, India  Category: Hostel Address: 1/49 Lalita Park, Laxmi Nagar, Main Vikas Marg - New Delhi, India Description: About us The Hostel is a new initiative as a part of creating an environment which allows for backpackers to travel in India and explore the country with all the help, knowledge and places for the day and a nice place to relax, chat and party in the evenings before turning in for the night. Hostel features a terrace where you can just sit and soak in the city. Hostel staff is friendly and will help you with anything you may need to make your travel or stay more enjoyable. Accommodation Currently hostel has 5 rooms: 2 x 4 Bed Dorms 2 x 6 Bed Dorms 1 x 8 Bed Dorm All are air conditioned rooms and the room rent includes everything from lined to the free continental breakfast. Each bed also has their own power points for you laptop/phone chargers and a reading light, so that you can do your own thing in the night without disturbing other guests. Services and activities There is nice lively common room, where guests can play board games, watch TV, play on the Xbox, or just sit late into the night exchanging your travel stories with other guests. Hostel also has a terrace area that you can use to sit out and chill with friends. Surroundings The Hostel is located on the banks of the River Yamuna which goes through the heart of the City. It is only 200m from the Laxmi Nagar Metro station, which connects you well to the entire city and is the best way to get around in Delhi for a tourist. The Akshardham Temple is just 2.5 Km from the hostel and other attractions such as the Humayun's Tomb and the Red fort are also just about 6-7 Km from the hostel, on the other side of the Yamuna.
