The 5 floor building is an example of the Art Deco style that defined Cuban architecture in the 40's. A famous episode from the history of the island took place here in 1957. 'Humboldt 7' (the building's address) became one of the still standing symbols of Cuban Revolution. The builidng is 5 minutes from the Old Havana on taxi, and in general is located in a very walkable area of the city where everything is pretty close.
